DESCRIPTION:\nFall\, 2025\n\nAges:   16 ~ Adults\n\nDates:  Tuesday evenings\, Sept 9 ~ Dec 2\, 2025 \n\n             (12 classes\; no class Thanksgiving week)\n\nTime:   6:00 ~ 7:00 pm\n\nCourse Content:  This very interactive class starts with the assumption that the student has no or very little study of or experience with the Japanese language.  In this course\, you will learn pronunciation (which is not difficult)\, the initial writing script of Hiragana\, how to introduce yourself\, write your name in Japanese\, useful daily expressions\, numbers\, and basic sentence and question structures that lead to your being able to hold beginning level conversations.  Of course\, cultural aspects of the Japanese will also be introduced to facilitate learning the language. \n\nLocation:  Classes will be offered via Zoom\, as this may best facilitate those who would otherwise have to travel to a school location\, go on business trips\, have after school activities\, get stuck in traffic\, have to be at home\, work late\, etc.  The instructor will send out the link to the class a few minutes before each class.
